Jason Arday in 2024. The Young Historians Project is saddened to hear of the death of Jason Arday. Jason Arday was a professor at the University of Cambridge, where he worked in the sociology department from 2023 to 2026. He resigned following allegations of plagiarism and claims that he had fabricated academic and personal achievements. In the wake of mounting controversy, Arday resigned from his post at the University of Cambridge on the 5th of August 2026. In a statement
